About the Role
You’re a creator who loves owning projects from start to finish. You get your hands dirty with every stage of production, from ideation and script writing to shooting and editing. You’re a true collaborator who enjoys gathering input from all directions to build innovative, market-leading video assets. You are a creative team player who has a passion for the social video space, develop clever ideas based on performance data and audience engagement, and possess all the technical skills to bring ideas to life.
We are expanding our in-house content creation, and we want you to lead production of film/video projects that both represent and enhance the G2 brand. You must have in-depth knowledge of all aspects of filmmaking, as well as extensive hands-on experience and success working across teams to bring an idea from concept to delivery.
With your application, please submit a reel/portfolio showcasing your abilities in shooting, editing and/or motion graphics design.
You Will
- Collaborate with teams to develop concepts, scripts, and shot lists for video content
- Lead production of video assets, including videography and cinematography
- Manage post-production phase, including hands-on editing, music, motion graphics, title sequences, captions, etc.
- Produce multiple versions of deliverables as needed
- Participate in internal cut reviews and perform revisions as necessary
- Own the G2 media library and archives, including raw files and final cuts
- Reprocess existing video assets as needed with additional footage, photography, motion graphics, audio, etc.
- Generate suggestions for improving workflows
We're excited about you if you have:
- Extensive knowledge of digital cinema cameras as well as DSLR photography
- 2+ years experience producing, shooting and editing videos professionally
- Proficiency with basic lighting and audio gear; ability to troubleshoot challenges quickly
- Skilled at turning around edits fast using Adobe Premiere Pro/Photoshop/After Effects
- Experience creating and building motion graphics to layer on to live-action video; stylish design and edit sensibility
- Superb organizational skills; thorough and detail oriented while managing multiple projects
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven production environment
- Stellar written and verbal communicator; impressive visual storytelling skills
- Bonus: motion graphic design experience
