Work/Project Scope:

  • Write clear, user-friendly product copy that simplifies complex ideas and flows.
  • Identify information architecture issues and recommend IA improvements.
  • Manage a content backlog, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Contribute to standards that govern for consistency and provide enablement to cross-functional partners.
  • Collaborate proactively with designers, product managers, engineers, and other cross-functional partners.
  • Support teams to launch new ideas and make sure new features fit into existing product flows, including but not limited to AI-powered features and capabilities.
  • Advocate for content design in product development.
  • Apply UX research and data to your content decisions.
  • Present your work for feedback and revise it based on input.

Must Haves (Required Skills):

  • Experience with driving UX writing, IA, and content strategy decisions. Preferably you’ve worked on SaaS products or applications.
  • Expert grasp of written language, with an eye for detail and fluency in style and grammar.
  • A knack for turning complex inputs into simple, intuitive outputs.
  • You can demonstrate strategic thinking, and an ability to shift between small details and the big picture. You have examples of visual, systems-level thinking, such as your own concept diagrams, journey maps, sketches, flows, matrices, or whatever shape an idea takes.
  • Ability to apply, seek, or contribute UX research and data in content design decisions, including to challenge your own assumptions and recognize when to change approach or opinion.
  • Understanding of business goals and metrics, and how to create UX content that meets both customer and business needs.
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams. You're a collaborative leader who can build relationships, promote content design, enable others, and preferably lead workshops.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain and defend your work.
  • You handle challenges and changes with resilience and a growth mindset, demonstrating openness to feedback and willingness to improve.
