Overview: As the Corporate Counsel at Litera, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about driving innovation in the legal technology space. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and collaborate with industry experts to deliver solutions that make a real difference in the legal profession.

Key Responsibilities:

· In this role, you will manage, negotiate, and execute various types of contracts including NDAs, MSAs, Service Orders, Statements of Work, partnership agreements, and vendor contracts

· You will utilize your independent judgment or collaborate with outside counsel to assess risks associated with deviations from standard contract terms

· Additionally, you will solicit input from relevant stakeholders to ensure their perspectives are incorporated into agreements

· Manage, negotiate, and execute various contracts

· Assess risk and make judgments on deviations from standard terms

Qualifications:

· You will gain valuable experience in contract management and risk assessment, which are essential skills for career advancement in corporate law

· Expertise in contract management and negotiation

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to think critically and make informed decisions

· Familiarity with corporate law and compliance

· Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

· Admission to the bar in at least one state

· Proven experience in corporate law or contract negotiation

· Strong understanding of legal principles and practices

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate law or contract management

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, or Washington residents is $85,000 to $150,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Litera offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
