What we offer:
Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $141,000 to $190,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 20% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).

- Lead or support Corporate Strategy initiatives, including but not limited to strategic planning, market and competitor intelligence, M&A, and penetration of new regions.
- Works closely with UL Senior Leadership Team, Revenue Management GMs, and Region GMs to set priorities and strategies for UL's business internationally and within specific regions and businesses. Develops executable plans based on the priorities and strategies.
- Co-leads annual corporate and regional planning activities, including developing long-range plans, budgets, and priorities.
- Manages the process to align region and business priorities by working with UL's leadership team, with a particular focus on the UL Americas strategy .
- Leads cross-functional and regional teams in developing and executing strategic initiatives to maximize the company's growth and profitability. While working with the teams, train them on strategy frameworks and techniques.
- Identifies opportunities for UL to grow through organic and acquisition investments that are in line with UL's long-range plans.
- Develops market intelligence, including identifying disruptive threats and opportunities, analyzing competitors' strengths and weaknesses, and understanding key market dynamics that will position the company to win.
- A nalyzes UL strategies, capabilities , and enterprise risks and documents those in presentations to be shared with UL's senior management and Board
- Project manage corporate strategy initiatives or special projects as needed.
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree (Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree) in Business Administration, Strategy, or Strategic Marketing, or related field plus 8 years of experience.
- Advanced degree (Equivalent to a Master's degree/ MBA) is preferred.
- Previous experience in Strategy or Management Consulting preferred.
- Ability to work within a complex and often ambiguous environment.
- Demonstrated ability to express complex ideas, present results, and translate statistical and business terminology to various levels of management.
- Strong team player with demonstrated analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Hands-on experience in strategy development and M&A projects.
- Strong business acumen with proven success in managing significant initiatives with strong results.
- Excellent communication skills with strong proficiency in English
