About the Role
G2 Crowd is looking for an organized, proactive data analyst to oversee our outreach marketing data. We are looking for someone with an analytical eye who’s not afraid to try new things and who’s always on the lookout for better, more efficient processes and tools. This role will also be responsible for tracking and reporting on a variety of key company and team metrics. Members of the outreach team work together as well as with other groups in the company, including product, marketing, research and sales, to ensure we have the largest and most trusted collection of user reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of campaign strategies across multiple channels.
  • Monitor performance and identify trends in current and past campaigns.
  • Understand our user base to adequately segment and optimize channels for driving new signups and review submissions.
  • Translate data requirements and insights into actionable campaign tactics.
  • Identify new user and review acquisition opportunities.
  • Track and evaluate user behavior patterns and assist in development of new data collection methods.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Support development of end-to-end analytics to provide team with data required to make critical decisions.
  • Develop and run reports on secondary metrics, and report on these as needed.
  • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize performance.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing data operations, campaign analytics, or a related role.
  • Familiarity with statistical software or programming languages (eg. SAS, R, Python).
  • Professional experience with SQL and with data visualization.
  • Strong organizational skills with precise attention to detail.
  • Proactive self-starter and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Agile and can adapt to changing circumstances or requirements.
  • Experience in software, tech, and/or user-generated content (ideal but not required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, applied math or other disciplines (Economics, Marketing) with significant quantitative work.
