Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor key funnel and loan performance metrics, reports, and dashboards to evaluate the performance of our products and understand the root causes of changes
  • Establish key performance metrics and develop automated reporting and alerting using SQL and Python
  • Build predictive models to optimize lending decisions by using advanced statistical modeling and simulation techniques
  • Conduct analysis using advanced data analytics to evaluate trends in funnel and loan performance and provide optimization strategy recommendations to improve metrics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement funnel or underwriting strategy changes, monitor releases, and perform impact analysis
  • Design A/B testing for models and underwriting strategies, evaluate impact, and provide recommendations

Requirements:

    • Bachelor's in math, statistics, computer science, engineering or related field
    • Experience with relational databases and SQL
    • Experience with data analytics and statistical modeling
    • Data analysis experience with python
    • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with key attention to detail
    • Ability to manage projects with tight deadlines, follow through to completion, and present conclusions of analysis to senior management in an organized and thoughtful manner

    Additional Pluses, but Not Requirements:

    • Advanced degree in quantitative discipline (e.g., math, statistics, analytics, quantitative finance, engineering, or other quantitative fields)
    • Experience with BI reporting tools
    • Experience with specialty finance or Fintech
