About the role
We’re building a smarter choice for car insurance and want you to join us on this mission. 

Clearcover is looking for an experienced Insurance professional with strong analytical skills to join it’s fast growing team. 

What will you do? 

• Lead the development of pricing methodologies for a rapidly growing auto product
• Support multi-state expansion including, but not limited to, rate development, rate filings, and technology support
• Supporting the Clearcover data science team in the creation and maintenance of customer lifetime value models
• Monitoring KPIs and delivering recommendations to support profitable growth
• Sits on the Clearcover Executive Team
• Building and leading a pricing support team to accomplish company goals and objectives
• Collaborating with Claims, Product, and Growth on cross-functional projects
• Providing ad-hoc support on projects including, but not limited to, reserving, claim processes, form/coverage development, telematics initiatives, and reinsurance treaties.

What do you need? 

• Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Thought leader
• Experience with machine learning in insurance applications
• Technical abilities in R/SQL/Python/Excel
• Strong ability to communicate effectively and to challenge the status quo
• Strong decision-making and relationship building skills
• Alignment with Clearcover core values
