This crucial role will help determine need, manage sourcing, measure impact and help build tools to improve efficiency of the entire data process for our R&D teams.

Be able to put together a plan to source the data (and annotations), including scoping effort and cost.
Work with our R&D teams to identify concrete requirements for tactical data needs and integrate data pipelines into our workflows for training and validation.
Direct a small engineering team to build tools to make the acquisition (or synthesis) and annotation of data easy and efficient.
Manage teams, budget, external service providers and legal/policy considerations in support of the above.
We’re excited about the work we are doing in AI. We often describe it as “Mission Critical AI” because our approach is founded on our many years of Public Safety experience and knowledge.
