About the Job
The North American Commercial team leads and manages all of NielsenIQ's relationships with consumer-focused manufacturers and retailers. The team includes over 1,600 professionals in the United States and Canada and coordinates all relationships for several hundred clients. Business Intelligence Analysts play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining reports and dashboards that provide the best and quickest answers to the questions our clients have about their business and strategy.
Responsibilities:
Partner with external clients and contacts across industries to identify strategic priorities and align on solutions that will drive business impact and maximize client value.
Build and maintain strong client relationships with adaptability, urgency, and positivity.
Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the highest value to our clients.
Develop expertise to design and deploy best in class reporting and dashboard visualizations to proactively support and grow our clients’ businesses.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications, recommending the most effective design for client data tools and dashboards.
Leverage NielsenIQ solutions including but not limited to Point of Sale & Panel data, Omnishopper, and eCommerce data to derive actionable insights to fuel client business decisions.
Utilize BI Application expertise to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders in order to identify and advise our clients on solutions for their business.
Share expertise of NielsenIQ’s cutting edge tools and technology with clients and internal stakeholders, as an early adopter and a power user of our newest assets.

Qualifications
0-3 years of professional experience with passion for data analysis in the CPG and Retail industries and its application to client-related business issues.
Experience in collaborating on projects, and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships in complex situations.
Strong analytical aptitude and proficiency in a range of software and digital tech.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and BI Tools (Microstrategy, Power Bi, Spotfire, or Tableau).
Experience, passion, and aptitude for designing effective data dashboards
Demonstrated ability to apply new technologies to business situations.
Proven problem-solving skills using deductive reasoning, understanding hierarchical relationships, and identifying gaps in logic.
Polished, persuasive communication skills with experience in presentations and writing specifications.
Bachelor's Degree required
