Hyatt is seeking a systems savvy, proactive self-starter who is service-oriented and wants to be part of an evolving Global HR Technology department. Reporting directly to the Manager of HCM, Compensation, and Talent Management Systems, this position is responsible for the support and maintenance of Hyatt’s HCM technology for segments of the Americas region. This includes applications that are used for HR, Payroll, Talent Management, Compensation, Performance Management, and Succession Planning. This person will focus on day-to-day operations as well as help evaluate and test existing system configurations in order to provide recommendations to increase efficiency, streamline processes, and improve overall usability. In addition, it will be crucial that this person is able to communicate their findings effectively to HR business partners and help guide them to solutions that are acceptable from both a business and technology perspective.

Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day operations, including triaging and processing of end user tickets.

Assist with end user troubleshooting, including but not limited to: researching and resolving system problems, system access issues, unexpected results or process flaws.

Update user and system administration guides and training resources when required.

Assist with larger projects as needed, including coordinating activities with other teams.

Escalate and trace issues that are not resolved to expectations.

Collaborate and consult with HR partners on new processes or business needs.

Lead requirements gathering discussions and document results.

Identify and implement changes to improve customer and/or team processes.

Establish testing plan and schedules for system updates or releases.

Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values.

Experience

Minimum 2 years HRIT experience, preferably supporting Talent Management Systems (Compensation, Performance, Succession).

Understanding of HR processes related to Compensation, Performance Management, and Succession Planning preferred.

Knowledge of Cornerstone OnDemand or other SaaS solutions a plus.

Report building experience preferred

Education

High school diploma or GED required

BS/BA preferred

Additional Requirements

Ability to self-direct work

Exceptional analytical, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills

Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities in a very fast paced, deadline driven work environment

Strong attention to detail
