Support the Ahold Delhaize operating banner Loyalty and Marketing teams and other end users by completing advanced projects, providing models, segmentations, and self-service tools when appropriate, and participating in the maintenance and improvement of internal customer databases.

Recipe for Success - What's “in store” for the role

• Complete complex analytics projects for the banner Customer Insights teams and other banner business partners -- this includes Test & Learn, Segmentation, and Predictive Models
• Provide business partners with insights and recommendations based upon analytics results
• Participate in maintenance and improvement of customer databases by sharing data QC responsibilities and providing new customer scoring algorithms to the customer database vendor
• Develop self-service analytical tools when appropriate
• Educate banner Loyalty and Marketing teams and other end users about the self-service tools you develop
• The person in this position should be proficient in various analytical tools/methods/knowledge (Inc. Tools such as SQL, PySpark / Spark, R, Python, Git Hub, Version Control, Bit Bucket, etc.); Methods/Knowledge such as test-control/experimental design, regression (Inc. multivariate), data modeling techniques, cluster and factor analysis, etc.).

The Essentials In Your Cart - The required ingredients

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics. Master’s Degree preferred.
• High level knowledge / working proficiency with Python or Pyspark preferred.

Extra Spices

• 3-5 years of experience in an analytics role or a master’s degree
