Analyst Relations Manager
Making A Difference:
As an Analyst Relations Manager you will be responsible for generating and executing a comprehensive strategy to identify, develop and build relationships with third-party influencers who are relevant to the company's brand and interests. You will also develop and execute market, competitive (CI), and customer intelligence programs with both internal and external partners/resources. In this role you will oversee planning and engagement with a wide variety of influencer types with the majority of the focus on analysts - including journalists, bloggers, communities, and industry associations - to support the organization's strategy.

Responsibilities
- Provide actionable, fact-based market intelligence and insight that align with objectives, goals, and business decisions
- Develop surveys, interviews, focus group guides, and usability studies that can be conducted with either external partners or internal constituents
- Select vendors and manage projects outsourced to third-party suppliers of primary and secondary market research
- Develop and implement processes, procedures and policies to improve data gathering, analysis and intelligence dissemination
- Analyze and package quantitative and qualitative information for distribution internally
- Conduct market sizing/opportunity studies to identify new growth markets and segments
- Establish "early warning" system for key audiences that identifies new market forces, new regulations and competitive landscape changes
- Develop mechanisms to deliver information, including comparison grids, competitive profiles/snapshots and dashboards
- Develop and maintain weekly or biweekly reports with specific KPIs and metrics for Director of Marketing
- Adopt and institutionalize standard analysis and assessment models
- Develops an influencer strategy and manage the ongoing engagement process with a full range of influencers (e.g. industry analysts, journalists, bloggers, communities, customer advocates, industry associations, authors, academics)
- Identifies and prioritizes analysts and influencers according to the distinct value they bring to the organization and buyers
- Helps the organization understand and develop capabilities for successfully engaging influencers
- Works with other parts of the organization to develop a thought leadership approach that supports influencer engagement and brings influencers into support thought leadership
- Tracks influencer coverage in traditional and social media
- Proactively introduces insights from influencers to guide the organization's strategy and planning process
- Works with product marketing, field marketing and sales enablement to create a strategy and develop and socialize influencer content and ensures integration of influencers into campaigns
- Project manages and executes on the delivery of content to various analysts and influencers for reports and features, working in conjunction with various stakeholders, including product marketing, product management, and sales
- Partners with demand generation to promote analyst features externally
- Optimizes budget to achieve best results and support company strategy
- Oversees influencer analyst measurement, including the design and operation of relevant dashboards and reports
Qualifications
- 2+ years global analyst/influencer relations experience (i.e. public relations, analyst relations, corporate communications roles)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Deep understanding of public relations, analyst relations, social media management, executive communications, and market research
- Experience working with traditional and social media influencers in B2B (especially in the organization's industry)
- Demonstrated previous strong relationships with other marketing and sales functions
- Coached internal executives and staff to interact with influencers
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to execute multiple projects on tight timelines with multiple stakeholders
- Strong Messaging and positioning capabilities
- Experience with media monitoring and reporting
- Ability to synthesize, analyze and summarize data
