Organization Description
The Corporate & Investment Bank is a global leader across investment banking, wholesale payments, markets and securities services. The Wholesale Payments Product Delivery organization is responsible for scaling and integrating payments platforms across Commercial Banking and the Corporate & Investment Bank, by defining the product strategy, segmenting clients and packing solutions against these segments, determining the end-to-end delivery strategy, managing product launches and enabling the sales teams.
Job Description
The Analytics Solutions Leader is responsible for working across Commercial Card and engaging other business and analytics teams across J.P. Morgan to conceptualize and execute on analytical projects that drive business growth. This leader will drive the development and execution of actionable data science and analytical solutions which leverage data in a consulting-style environment that places a premium on creative problem solving. The individual will lead teams that work on a large range of strategic, highly visible projects with internal clients. The role will develop data-centric solutions that move the bottom line for the business. It is a great opportunity to have meaningful impact on a large scale.
You'll make an impact by:

  • Helping our internal clients define new solutions or strategies that leverage analytics to drive superior customer experience and business performance
  • Providing thought leadership to drive strategy with internal clients to assess the feasibility and usefulness of a given product / solution using data
  • Developing the next generation of analytical talent for our organization
  • Partnering with other analytics teams within the company to develop a book of work that adds value for the business


About you
We're looking for a highly-motivated leader with the initiative and insight to develop innovative analytic solutions. The position offers an opportunity to:

  • Develop senior relationships at all levels of the Commercial Card organization and across other internal businesses
  • Apply strategic, analytical and leadership skills to broad range of challenges
  • Deepen market knowledge of various industries, operational efficiency and financial technologies
  • Grow leadership skills by managing diverse group of clients and projects, mentoring and coaching others, and by socializing new ideas across the organization


Basic Qualifications:

  • Superior written and oral communication and presentation skills with experience communicating effectively with diverse audiences - across business and technology partners, including senior leadership
  • Consulting orientation with ability to influence and effectively lead cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing a team and developing talent
  • Self-starter with out-of-the box problem solving skills and a drive to bring new ideas to life. Extreme degree of ownership and pragmatism. An outlook that no problem is not yours to influence and solve in the context of your project work
  • Demonstrated success in creating and driving execution against strategies/roadmaps
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and keep numerous projects on track
  • Experience with data analytics and/or visualization techniques (e.g. SQL, Python, Tableau), as well as big data technologies
  • Undergraduate degree in business management, statistics, or other quantitative discipline


Bonus qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience at a consulting firm or in an internal consulting-like role
  • Deep understanding of the financial services industry
  • MBA or other Masters' degree
