Compensation Data
The role pays in the range of $85-105K per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
The Team
Arity IT Op-EX – Business Enablement Team
Solving problems and removing obstacles to enable Arity to make transportation smarter, safer and more useful for everyone. The Business Enablement team helps Arity achieve its mission by ensuring the company and the employees have the right technology, tools, and partnerships to be successful. We advance technology within arity to help groups be able to accomplish their goals with more expediency. We deal with security, applications, and other aspects of new technologies. Innovation and initiative is key to our success in our team. We want to think outside the box to enable our other teams to go further faster.
The Role
This will require – the ability to administer, manage, and perform coding for software products that the entire Arity business uses to function. Some examples of this include but are not limited to the Salesforce tool for Sales CRM, Customer management, and Customer servicing and the Atlassian Suite of Jira and Confluence which the business uses to manage product development and essential documentation. In addition, This job will require team interfaces cross functionally with Arity to understand the user/customer needs and advocate for those needs within the enterprise. This advocacy may manifest, for example, in working with several enterprise teams to improve processes around elevated permission rights for code developers to execute their needed programs or working with enterprise firewall and VPN teams to run testing on latency issues and drive solutions. Success of this team is measured by timely execution of a planned roadmap that is based on improving the Arity business and employee experience with enterprise and purchased software and hardware tools.
The Role
- Leads and manages strategic Op-X projects, individually or with assigned teams. Examples of potential projects include:
- Cybersecurity initiatives
- Implementation of privacy strategies
- Integrating technology solutions
- Business development and partner strategy
- Supporting agile scrum product teams
- Designs and builds processes / programs, leveraging expertise across the company to determine the best approach
- Analyzes problems and needs of the company, and works with subject matter experts across various levels to recommend and implement solutions
- Executes regular Op-X processes relating to privacy, risk management, business development, and strategic technology. Examples of processes include:
- Certification of data transfers
- Customer and partner contract reviews
- On-boarding compliance for new customers
- Security vulnerability reporting & governance
- Triage and investigation of reported business technology issues
- Ensures that processes are well documented and addresses opportunities for improvement
- Provides coaching and mentoring for other members of the Op-X team
- Administers ISTM management system.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of related experience
- Project management experience including managing stakeholders, adhering to deadlines, leading a project team, etc.
- Exposure to corporate functions such as technology, risk management/ compliance, product development, finance, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to manage or significantly contribute to projects that involve cross-functional teams or strategic initiatives
- Interest in continuous learning and development
- Advanced ability to adapt to change, and willingness to take on new roles and challenges
- Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Coaching and listening skills
