On the Nielsen Retail Team, you will work face-to-face with major retail decision-makers utilizing robust Nielsen solutions to assist your clients with navigating through complex business challenges. You will develop insightful and actionable recommendations from the necessary data points to support making critical business decisions with confidence. RESPONSIBILITIES
When you join the Nielsen team, you’re signing up for an experience that requires flexibility, curiosity, and passion. As an Associate Data Analytics Manager, you will:

  • Partner with clients to understand their strategic priorities and align on analytic projects which drive their business results.
  • Timely response to clients' ad hoc requests, data understanding needs, Nielsen solution usage and adoption, and business questions.
  • Develop expertise and educate clients on Nielsen data and solutions, consult on industry trends, and share innovative thought leadership.
  • Work independently to create impactful presentations, insightful analyses, and actionable recommendations to address key client business issues.
  • Build strong partnerships with clients and internal stakeholders, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor and collaborative partner.
  • Serve as a daily point of contact for clients while managing multiple deadlines and projects.
  • Independently complete thorough analyses using Nielsen’s proprietary tools and multiple data sources to develop insights that drive value-added decision making and client outcomes.
  • Be accountable for identifying opportunities to collaborate across Nielsen teams and drive consultative sales with clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 2 - 3 years’ practical work experience in related industries which include: Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail, Consulting, or Analytics.
  • Retail industry knowledge and understanding is a plus (Retail Merchandising, Category Management, Operations, etc.)
  • Highly Proficient in a Google and Microsoft Office business environment.
  • Experience with Tableau, SQL, Power BI, or related is a plus
  • Strong analytical aptitude, naturally curious, and a lifelong learner. Experience with syndicated data is a plus
  • Advanced analytic experience utilizing multiple and complex data sets to uncover insights and inform decision making
  • Proven experience developing, maintaining, and growing various client relationships
  • Problem solver; with successful project management skills
  • Successfully manage multiple priorities in complex situations
  • Collaborative team member with internal & external teams
  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability driving client outcomes
