Duties:
Design, develop and implement large scale hybrid and cloud-based data systems that will serve as the backbone for the enterprise data management and analytics capabilities. Develop data strategies and goals for data acquisition, data retention, and implementation of data lake on an enterprise level. Define system architecture, technology stack, and tactical implementation. Design and implement large-scale data lake systems involving real-time streaming events and batch data sets on distributed computing frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, HBase, and Cloud Computing technologies such as AWS. Design and implement micro-services to provide credit decision monitoring in real-time applying data structure and algorithms for large transaction volumes using RESTful API, Spring Boot and Java. Design and develop data analytical applications for identifying trends and measuring performance by creating operational metrics using tools such as SQL and HIVE. Solve unique technical challenges associated with handling large datasets and managing batch and streaming data in the public cloud and hybrid environments. Analyze and devise logical database designs for systems under design, construction, or enhancement, ensuring that such systems meet information needs. Provide advice, guidance, and support to Application Services, including analysts and developers on access and use of data. Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in CS or computer engineering and seven (7) years of software development and design experience.
Special Skills Required:
Must have work experience with each of the following: 1. Designing and implementing large-scale data lake systems involving real-time streaming events and batch data sets on distributed computing frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, HBase, and Cloud Computing technologies such as AWS; 2. Designing and implementing micro-services to provide credit decision monitoring in real-time applying data structure and algorithms for large transaction volumes using RESTful API, Spring Boot and Java; and; 3. Salary
$142,900.00 - $162,000.00
