Associate - Sustainalytics - New Sales
About the Role
This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be part of Sustainalytics’ growth story, focusing on the North American market. We are looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail, good writing skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate across all areas of Sustainalytics and to work with the Client Relations team globally to grow our market presence. The role has a strong emphasis on coordination and organization, pro-activeness, and communication, which will be key to your success and that of the team.
Job Responsibilities
- Developing deep knowledge of products and services to support sales conversations.
- Preparing client meeting materials and coordinating meeting follow-ups.
- Coordinating with internal data and client teams to set up trial and services.
- Support clients through trials including with demos, research, and data questions.
- Coordinating contracting processes, liaising internally and externally.
- Leading on data management in the customer management software including maintaining accurate records, leveraging data to provide insightful reporting and analysis.
- Conducting market research and providing support for outreach.
- Develop and coordinate communication around product launch or enhancement updates
- Coordinating and writing proposals and RfP responses.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to advance strategic initiatives and drive internal projects
- Assisting with organization of sales related events and participating in conferences; and
- Developing your own ESG and Sustainable Finance industry knowledge.
We work daily with colleagues across all North American offices and locations, as well as Europe and Asia. The desire to work very closely with a diverse team from many different cultures is critical to working at Sustainalytics.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated passion for sustainability and an alignment with Sustainalytics’ mission, vision and values
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
• Commercial support mindset and strong time management skills.
• Experience and an aptitude in leading projects from start to finish with little oversight is essential
• Ability to take initiative and think creatively and proactively
• Ability to learn how to use a CRM, produce reports from it and learn and use other business software; and
• An understanding of or desire to learn about the financial services and responsible investment industry.
• Degree in related discipline (business, finance, environment and/or social sciences)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
