While this role will start remote, we will require this individual to be based in our Chicago office.

So, what’s the role?
The BI Manager will own our business intelligence infrastructure and tools. In addition to focusing on data quality and governance, this person will manage day to day analytics requests, dashboard development, and building new data sets. The BI Manager will work cross-functionally to support all departments at Kin, while also working closely with our data infrastructure team.
A day in the life could include:
- Managing Looker/BI Infrastructure
- Centralizing and owning definitions of organizational KPIs across all departments
- Developing external and internal reporting processes in Looker
- Producing custom and ad hoc reports and dashboards as needed
- Managing Data Governance
I’ve got the skills...but do I have the necessary ones?
- 4+ years of data analytics / reporting experience
- BI report and dashboard experience, preferably with Looker
- Data warehousing and ETL design experience
- Knowledge of Python or Ruby
- PostGRES or RedShift experience
- Expert in SQL
- Interest or experience in highly regulated and / or startup environment(s)
