Overview

Where KeHE goes, goodness follows. KeHE has grown tremendously in recent years due to innovation, serving our trading partners, and quickly adapting to a change. We bring humility, honesty, curiosity, and a sense of urgency to our work.

We are creating a work environment free of friction. We’re focused on simple and intuitive ways to work and compete in the marketplace. We’re building systems where our employees come together each day and do what truly makes us human; collaborate, share, and connect.

You’ll have the opportunity to grow and apply your skills in ways you never thought possible. And you’ll have fun doing it. Join a team where our collective intelligence, collective effort, and collective passion is brought together to do something worth doing!

Primary Responsibilities

The Business Analyst (Business Intelligence) is an essential part of our product team by providing functional and systemic analysis to clarify scope. The role is a critical link between end users and our esteemed engineers. This team member brings a curious and empathic mindset to elicit the true requirements from business stakeholders. First and foremost, the Business Analyst (BI) is an excellent communicator who writes well, speaks well, and most importantly, listens well. The Business Analyst takes the time to understand why the current situation is ‘as it is’ and positions the team to deliver results.

An ideal candidate loves data, isn’t afraid to explore the data model, and run queries to more deeply understand. Data visualization is an important skill that the Business Analyst (BI) uses to better understand reality. The role is perfect for somebody with a learning mindset who is open to exploring a variety of technologies related to the supply chain.

Ultimately our Business Analysts are translators. They speak the languages of technology, business processes, and supply chain. They learn fast and have fun doing it!

Think you might be a good fit?

Are you:

- Comfortable with technology, including how to query and organize data?

- An extrovert who welcomes the opportunity to speak up and ask questions?

- Able to lead conversations to understand and document how our business works now and where we can improve?

- Familiar with the Agile/Scrum framework?

- Ok with moving quickly and shipping small, 'good enough' versions of done, knowing we'll iterate several times to find the best solution?

- Someone with an appetite to learn new things, who is willing to share what you've learned with others?

If so, and if you have a demonstrated track record of delivering on your commitments, overcoming challenges, and creating an environment where team members are open and can do their best work, get in touch with us!

An Insider's view of KeHE Distributors

What’s the vibe like in the office?

KeHE is the perfect blend of hard work and diverse culture while maintaining a vibe that is fun and collaborative. It's not just a group of professionals paid to do the work, but instead everyone is part of a team working towards a common goal.

Moe Khan

Sr. Software Automation Engineer

How do you collaborate with other teams in the company?

As the Manager of UI/UX Design, we work alongside & collaborate daily with engineers, product managers, and KeHE stakeholders to advocate UX & consistency across applications. The most exciting part about working for KeHE, besides the great people, is innovation - leading us to deliver high quality digital solutions transforming the food industry.

Ashley Plumb

User Experience Manager

What are some things you learned at the company?

Engineering isn't just about writing code. Understanding the needs of our users and translating those needs into a better product is a huge part of our day-to-day. Writing clean, performant code is fun and exciting, but if we don't deliver a functional product to our users at the end of the day, none of that matters.

Daniel

Lead Engineer

What are some social events your company does?

This year, the IT department at KeHE held their inaugural hackathon. It gave us the opportunity to collaborate and strengthen friendships in the spirit of friendly competition, as well as work with new and emerging technology. I cannot wait to see what is in store for next year’s hackathon!

Anthony Gacek

Software Engineer
