Business Analyst, Deliverability

This is a great opportunity for a product-strong Cventer seeking new challenges, opportunity, and responsibility. The Business Analyst plays a key role in helping our customers achieve and maintain excellent email deliverability. Extensive in-house training will be conducted to bring an internal Cvent candidate up-to-speed quickly and position them for success in this role.

 Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal teams (e.g. Client Services, Sales, Marketing, etc.) on email delivery questions, issues, roadmap, and best practices. Occasionally assist on prospect and existing customer calls.
  • Monitor, analyze and interpret data to identify delivery issues and maintain high email deliverability
  • Perform client deliverability investigations; produce reports and actionable recommendations
  • Create and maintain documentation
  • Keep informed of email industry news, trends, regulations and best practices as they relate to deliverability
  • Maintain and develop relationships within the email deliverability community
  • Assist with implementing custom email configurations for existing and new clients
  • Produce product requirements for messaging-related features, products, and projects
  • Work with Product Management to prioritize and implement messaging-related functionality updates
  • Participate in design, testing and implementation of tactical and strategic messaging solutions to meet company objectives
  • Assist with vendor evaluations of messaging/email deliverability products and services
  • Continually identify, improve, and document processes and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 18 months Cvent work experience
  • Proficiency with the Cvent applications; expertise in either Event, Survey, Meetings Management, or Lanyon products preferred
  • Adept at working with Customers, Sales, Client Services, Professional Services, Sales Engineering, and AppSupport
  • Technical aptitude or the ability to quickly understand technical concepts
  • Eagerness to learn technology
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent problem solving, self-study and internet research skills
  • Strong communication skills, especially communicating complex concepts to different audiences
  • Ability to work independently managing multiple projects, responsibilities and competing priorities in a fast-paced, analytical environment
