POSITION SUMMARY:
This position provides Operations expertise in the preparation, analysis, design, testing and implementation of process designs and improvements. In a Scrum-based environment, the incumbent will represent Operations in Scrum ceremonies and implementation meetings , interact with IT and business stakeholders and vendors, provide Operations input, develop user stories and process flows, participate in User Acceptance Testing, and help drive the final solution through Production implementation. A key purpose of this role is to assess and evaluate current state processes and envision more streamlined, automated, and standardized alternatives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Partner with stakeholders, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Architects to define Operations process requirements related to multiple internal and external systems
- Manage the analysis of key risk areas in current and proposed Operations processes
- Design process improvements as part of system implementations and translate them into requirements, epics, features, and stories to support development teams and process owners
- Lead the creation of user stories and process flows, process documentation, and training materials
- Solicit ideas and feedback from impacted departments and represent these areas in discussions with internal/external implementation teams
- Use data analysis and metrics to support prioritization decisions for enhancements, features, and new development
- Evaluate and test the system throughout the implementation phases
- Conduct on-going analysis and monitoring of processes to ensure that desired outcomes are produced
- Assess and define change impact (people, process, and technology) related to proposed Operations changes
- Determine and support team structure changes as it relates to the definition of roles impacted by process changes
- Assist with change management efforts throughout the firm including
- Creating a strategy to support adoption of the required changes
- Assessing change readiness and identifying key stakeholders
- Supporting the design, development, and delivery of communication
- Other tasks and duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Decision Modeling, Finance, Operations Research, or related field
- 5-7 years of applicable experience
- Deep knowledge and understanding of Operational processes and their interaction across processes, systems, and teams
- Proactive, analytical, and problem-solving approach, able to propose resolutions and/or remediation to inefficient processes
- Experience creating user stories and process flows and designing process improvement ideas
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work streams in a fast-paced environment and self-prioritize, multi-task and complete tasks within specified timelines
- Possess excellent collaboration and communication skills, with both internal and external teams
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Visio, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with trust accounting systems, IRAs and alternative assets preferred
- Experience in system implementations/conversions preferred
- IRA/IRS rules and regulations knowledge and experience preferred
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Agile) preferred
