Business Analyst, Loan Servicing Design & Solutions
What will your day look like?
You will be responsible for driving automation and process improvements, performing data analysis, and supporting regulatory changes to ensure Alliant is compliant with all state and federal regulations regarding credit reporting and credit disputes. The Business Analyst collaborates with Consumer Lending and Technology to identify continuous operational improvements and service efficiency initiatives. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for working with Compliance to identify, monitor and report on key performance metrics, resolve and monitor issues and implement changes as a result of new or updated regulatory requirements.

- Serve as a partner with the business for solving complex issues relating to product defects; represent the business and serve as the liaison to internal and vendor technical communities
- Identify and implement process improvements in addition to generating reports that provide insight and enhance business outcomes
- Identify continuous operational improvement opportunities and service efficiency initiatives; recommend solutions, and champion the implementation of agreed upon solutions
- Remain current on industry trends and implement best practices that result in improved performance
- Responsible for partnering with others in lending and across organization to produce accurate and valuable reporting that drives data driven decisions
- Acts as key contributor in the creation, development, testing and deployment of product enhancements
- Responsible for collaborating with Alliant’s IT and system vendors to enhance and improve system functionality
- Lead Credit Bureau Reporting and ensure the organization meets regulatory and compliance requirements
- Responsible for reporting consumer credit information in a fair, timely and accurate manner
- Understand all aspects and requirements of credit reporting and e-Oscar disputes processing
- Learn and manage operational system used to monitor Metro 2 Credit Reporting
- Monitor and resolve any credit bureau exception or compliance issues regarding CDIA Credit Reporting Metro 2 guidelines
Qualifications

You’ll be a great fit if in addition to the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or other relevant field required, and you have:
- Experience with process design and communication, requirements definition, project management, training, cross-functional collaboration, preferred
- Strong analytical skills with regard to evaluating system and process functionality
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet assigned project deadlines in a timely manner
- Ability to influence and partner with business partners
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Understanding of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the requirements
- Lending/banking/financial services experience a plus
- Experience with Tableau and SQL a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio)
