Business Analyst
What We’re Looking For
Hunt Club is looking for a Business Analyst that can help us leverage data to support all aspects of our business. The ideal candidate is someone that has a mix of technical skills with a business mindset. This person will provide critical analytics and reporting to one or more teams across the organization, such as Client Services, Partnerships, Operations, and Product. This role provides the opportunity to deliver valuable insights through Hunt Club’s data and help us unlock future growth channels.
What You’ll Do
Create reports, visualizations, and dashboards for teams across the organization
Gather reporting and data requirements to support business needs from cross-functional teams, and work closely with Data Engineers to ensure those requirements are met
Manage the organization and structure of our data, making sure that it is clean and ready for analysis
Provide ad-hoc data, analytics, and insights to internal stakeholders; this could range from a spreadsheet of data to a presentation of insights from a large dataset
Help us build a foundation for data analysis to be a integral part of all decision making processes
Assist in creating/administering tools and trainings to help stakeholders make data-driven decisions
Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to define problems, surface trends, and present data in such a way that it tells a compelling story
Who You Are
You have about 2-5 years of experience in data analysis and measuring performance of different functions, preferably in a high growth startup
You are very analytical and able to solve problems through quantitative thinking
You can take those complex analytical problems and communicate them effectively to non-technical audiences
Your experience has specifically been with advanced reporting through writing/reading SQL queries and building Excel/Sheets
You are familiar with visualization and BI tools like Sisense, Tableau, Metabase, Domo, or Looker.
You are comfortable managing multiple tasks and able to shift between them quickly
You are able to think strategically and understand how the problems you are solving will impact the entire business
