Business Analyst
What You'll Do
The individual in this position is responsible for having a mindset to leverage information gathering and analysis/modeling skills to support various team, department, and enterprise-wide consultative engagements focused on but not limited to business process excellence. Working within an Agile method the Senior Associate will contribute to the Business Engineering & Strategy team’s execution of high priority improvement initiatives in collaboration with business partners by assisting with project management, performing critical analyses, supporting facilitation of engagement activities and workshops, and ultimately producing high quality deliverables that provide the blueprints for short and long-term change.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.
Help identify process pain points and opportunities to leverage automation to increase value and efficiency throughout the organization
Lead the development of a holistic approach along with process owners to prescribe process solutions
Write agile user stories that will inform the development and testing teams as to required features
Provide assistance in UAT and test scenario/case development
Lead UAT of deployment ready projects
Analyze impact from process changes to risks and controls within processes
Manage expectations and report project progress to stakeholders and team members
Serve as a liaison between development partners and business SMEs
Help define and execute the roadmap for automation within OCC
Serve as Scrum Master on efforts
Work closely with OCC information technology teams to integrate the automation platforms with other existing platforms
Lead Agile ceremonies that support solution delivery
Work as a member of the Process Automation team, and coordinate with all team members to address customer requests

[Required] Experience in collecting and documenting business requirements to solve process inefficiencies
[Required] Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, team, and leadership
[Required] Ability to think logically in a manner to learn script writing for automation tools
[Required] Understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile
[Required] Ability to interact with various departments to successfully collect needed information to complete analysis efforts
[Required] Ability to work proactively in identifying risks and proposing solutions
[Required] Ability to plan/manage/prioritize work to meet objectives of multiple or competing priorities/projects
Technical Skills:
[Required] Microsoft Office Suite
[Preferred] Experience with JIRA and Confluence
[Preferred] Understanding of functionality BPM Tools
[Preferred] Understanding of RPA Tools
Education and/or Experience:
[Required] Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Management, Finance, or related field
[Required] Experience with business analysis in work/intern setting
[Required] Understanding of SDLC methodologies
