Business Analyst
We are currently looking for an Analyst to join our growing Business Operations team. This individual should be comfortable analyzing data, communicating findings, and scaling best practices across the organization. Additionally, the analyst will support creative positioning of data to further competitive differentiation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to inform company leadership of the health of the business, uncover trends, and help support strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with other members of the BI&A team to develop a platform on which such analyses are scalable and repeatable.
- Explore and analyze trends to uncover opportunities that drive how the team better engages with clients.
- Present data narratives to assist in winning new and defending existing business.
- Maintain and develop scalable, repeatable processes and frameworks that enhances IAS ability to inform clients’ media strategy.
- Collaborate across functions to communicate client and internal stakeholder feedback to define product direction.
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (mathematics, statistics, economics, etc.)
- 0-2 years of experience in an analytical capacity
- Strong project management experience
- Flexibility to succeed in a dynamic work environment
- Self driven with the ability to identify opportunities to add value
- Familiarity with data collection within the digital advertising space
- Strong quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful stories
- Ability to develop creative data solutions to both requested and unarticulated needs
- Advanced skills in Excel and comfort with SQL (or other programming languages)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within the media or digital marketing space
- Comfort with data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
