Description
As the HRIS Business Process Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of Time Tracking systems, working closely with HR customers to understand their requirements and provide solutions. This role will lead and participate in workshops, depending on subject matter. You will be involved in solution design workshops, with valued contribution and responsibility or accountability for the final solution.
Job Duties
- Responsible for gathering requirements, leading design sessions, tracking deliverables, configuration, and assisting developers in creating Time Tracking solutions
- Support legacy solutions while defining processes and migration to future initiatives. Provide configuration options for new and current system solution releases.
- Provide support in developing systems strategy, consulting, gathering requirements, creating and presenting system change requests, development, testing and training.
- Conduct and approve testing as required by new content releases or deployments.
- Assists service centers and IT personnel in obtaining answers to process related questions from the global Process Owners and global customers.
- Provides project management assistance to other team members to monitor progress and implementation of initiatives
- Account for possible project challenges or constraints and proactively seek to manage challenges
- Work through production issue resolution and identify opportunities for application enhancements
- Partners with HR customers to understand business challenges and deliver solutions to mitigate these challenges
Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge of multiple application systems and project lifecycles
- College or university degree or equivalent experience
- 3 - 5 years of analyst responsibilities with project lifecycle management experience
Top candidates will also have
- Background in HR related applications and familiarity with Kronos or Workday
- Excellent interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships with HR customers
- Strong planning, organizational and prioritization skills
- Be passionate about technology - the HR technology landscape is continuously evolving and our top candidate is committed to learning new technologies

- This position would ideally be located in Peoria, IL; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; however open to considering other Caterpillar facilities within the U.S. (candidates permanent address must be within 50-mile driving distance to a Caterpillar facility)
