Business Strategy Lead
As the Business Strategy Lead at Snapsheet you will make an impact acting as an advisor to our Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer while executing the strategy that brings us to the next phase of our companies growth. As a leader, you will support the international expansion of our software platform. Working closely with our leadership team, you execute on the strategy for client partnerships from meeting preparation to facilitating workshops and executing on follow-ups. As a thought partner, you will act as the Chief Strategy Officer’s right-hand playing a key role in brainstorming and identifying solutions to challenges across the organization.
Strong communication skills allow you to act as a partner to our international clients as well as our executive team sharing timely and meaningful feedback. Problem solving skills will be critical to uncovering roadblocks while your instinct to act will allow you to execute solutions quickly and effectively. Responsibilities of the Business Strategy Lead:
- Act as an advisor to the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer, identifying priorities, strategically aligning their time for execution, and revisiting priorities regularly to assess progress
- Default to problem solving and facilitate effective decision making by acting as a thought partner to the Chief Strategy Officer
- “Manage up” to share timely and meaningful feedback to the Chief Strategy Officer, and other leaders in the company to meet goals and execute on strategic initiatives
- Proactively identify business and strategic issues as they arise and prioritize your time to address the most critical problems
- Coordinate the execution of a global strategy and refine the strategy where applicable
- Manage a variety of long-term, cross-organizational projects such as go-to-market strategy, market landscape, assessment of resources, etc.
- Successfully support the global expansion of an international software platform, ensuring all internal and external parties are aligned and advancing
- Oversee meeting preparation and planning for Board of Directors; support the Chief Strategy Officer in managing interactions with board chair and committee leaders
- Project manage client meetings from preparing leaders, assisting in developing meeting partnerships, helping facilitate the meeting, and owning follow-up
- Create materials for meetings, presentations, client workshops and industry conferences
- Provide analytical rigor and lead strategic analyses (e.g., financial modelling, account segmentation) to support data-driven decisions in the business
- Supervise daily operations and help oversee projects of high importance
- Manage company calendar and ensure deadlines are being met
Qualifications of the Business Strategy Associate:
- Bachelor's degree in any relatable field
- 2 - 5 years as a consultant
- Required travel internationally up to 25% - 50% of the time
