Job Description The Business Analysis & Reporting Analyst will join the Middle Office team within Finance & Business Management, leading strategy and execution of business modeling and analytics programs. This is a high-visibility role with direct interaction and partnership with various senior managers within the bank. The successful candidate will learn core business processes and develop all people, process, and technology components required to support a best-in-class program delivering advanced analytics globally to solve tough business challenges.
Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior leaders on advancing the business analysis and reporting agenda, focused on insights delivery in areas around staffing efficiency & staffing models, volume forecasts, comprehensive cost modeling and allocations, etc
• Identify opportunities and applicable quantitative and statistical methodologies to deploy advanced analyses at scale for CB Middle Office functions
• Participate in an innovation agenda, continually identifying and seeking to leverage the best available tools & techniques to improve the value and efficiency of financial related programs
• Partner with other Business & Analytics teams to create dashboards for capacity modeling and client costing
• Develop a deep understanding of systems and processes in order to extract insights from existing data while identifying and recommending enhancements to improve data quality

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of total experience within MIS, Analytics, and/or Management Consulting roles with a focus on Financial Services; experience supporting banking operations preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of data architecture and warehousing concepts with proven ability to support and/or manage enterprise level data initiatives with senior leadership visibility
• Strong Data Science background and experience in Big Data platforms and technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Spark, etc.)
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge and experience with various analytical, modeling and statistical methodologies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - must have the ability to build strong working relationships with the management team and team members within the business
• Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
• Competent in the use of data technology to solve complex business problems, with hands-on expertise in the use of multiple Business Intelligence toolsets and database platforms; examples include Qlik Sense, Tableau, Python, R, SQL/Oracle/Teradata, Alteryx
• BA / BS; advanced study / quantitative focus a plus
