What you will be doing:

As the Clinical Data Lead, you will have an instrumental role in meaningfully expanding our product suite. You will help us integrate clinical data sources, analyze the data in novel ways, and incorporate the outputs into our software. You will work closely with both internal solutions teams and external customers (including hospital executives and physician leaders) to develop new products around these data sources. You will be responsible for leading pilot programs through which we tune our applications for maximal impact.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, with a proven track record of working with different groups of sophisticated healthcare stakeholders and overcoming roadblocks to deliver results. He or she will be highly competent with data analytics and will be comfortable discussing complex clinical and data-oriented topics.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing actionable clinical metrics from raw data sources
• Owning and updating the enterprise clinical data specification and schema
• Working with internal product management and engineering teams to move data concepts through the software development cycle
• Presenting outputs to external stakeholders for feedback and iteration
• Applying data science techniques to enhance data outputs

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in healthcare data analysis or data management; previous experience at a healthcare technology company or hospital preferred
• Experience building actionable clinical dashboards and reports from EMR and claims data
• Strong proficiency in querying and analyzing raw data sources with SQL or a similar language
• Knowledge of data science techniques (machine learning, neural networks)
• Strong understanding of Epic and Cerner database architecture
• Familiarity with software product development and product management
• Organized, highly motivated individual with excellent project management and problem-solving skills
