Consumer Insights Analyst
If you love the cross-section of analytics, content and creativity, then this is the role for you. You’ll lead the efforts on consumer research, data collection and insights analysis. As a Consumer Insights Analyst, you’ll execute research surveys, analyze complex data sets, and translate data into insights utilized for editorial content marketing. Data and data-backed content will help position GoHealth as an authoritative thought-leader and industry expert, while also increasing brand awareness, media attention, and site traffic. This role will play an integral part in helping consumers understand and navigate the complexities of health insurance and medicare.

This is inclusive of interviewing, onboarding and each role day-to-day. Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in brainstorms to conceptualize unique content topics.
- Partner and collaborate with stakeholders from business, analytics, UX, content, to the agent salesforce to help determine topically relevant ideas and data needed for various editorials
- Conduct extensive primary research (via digital surveys) to capture consumer opinions, sentiments, and trends; summarizing strategic insights and analyses, complete with demographic comparisons.
- Utilize statistics to identify significance, noise, and correlations in data.
- Partner & pitch research to relevant publishers or media outlets, occasionally; engage with external publishers to provide clarity or extended insights, occasionally.
- Frequently review competitor research and/or data insights strategy, analyzing any impact it had with engagement or interest.
- Share and apply learnings.
- Create and execute a survey calendar that takes into business and content goals and deadlines; maintain a strategy document to ensure research strategies align with consumer purchase cycles (discovery, consideration, buy).
- Track and report KPI performance of editorial content.
Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in research or business analytics; including experience analyzing with large data sets, splicing/cross-tabulating to view insights in various ways.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience with marketing or consumer research from designing and fielding web-based surveys to analyzing the results.
- Experience in the health insurance or medicare industry, or strong desire to learn.
- Strong MS Excel proficiency.
- Experience in SQL, Tableau, and/or Python, or a strong desire to learn.
- You’re meticulous, enjoy data analysis, and have a natural curiosity and eagerness to interpret data (you know how to pivot/analyze data in order to answer a question); You have a strong attention to detail; Strong communication and written skills; You’re a creative thinker and self-starter; both an independent worker and collaborative team player.
