The Impact You Will Make
Grubhub is looking for a detail-oriented, results-driven Continuous Improvement Analyst to support the Logistics Continuous Improvement (CI) Team in identifying opportunities for process improvement and compiling information that recognizes value-add initiatives. This individual will help drive projects and collaborate cross-functionally between teams to instil CI principles and actions. The CI Analyst will hold a unique position in the organization that ultimately streamlines a positive customer experience.
The Impact You Will Make
- Partner with Process Owners, team members, and peers to strategize, identify and implement process improvements opportunities to drive operational efficiencies.
- Utilize sampling techniques to perform process audits and drive root cause analysis; effectively communicating results and recommendations to stakeholders
- Perform Process Calibrations and coordinate process improvement implementations
- Execute improvement events such as Kaizen and Lean Six Sigma projects while clearly defining the cost/benefit of the activities.
- Serve as process SME for the Grubhub Logistics team by creating and maintaining process standardization documentation, process maps, and value stream maps.
- Develop and maintain Failure Modes and Effects Analyses for processes and implement corresponding error-proofing solutions and mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools to recognize and eliminate waste, defects, and variation within processes and the business.
- Own cross-functional communication and information management across the organization, ensuring teams continuously are aligned on process improvements
- Promote a culture of Continuous Improvement by owning educational programming while challenging and holding stakeholders accountable to principles.
- Serve as the Point of Contact for all professional development opportunities for Logistics
What You Bring to the Table
- 2-4 years working in Operations, Project Management or Continuous Improvement
- You have a passion for analyzing and critiquing data sets; you are well versed in Excel, SQL and Tableau.
- You thrive on problem solving and you use statistics as a toolset to do so
- Track record of recognizing and driving improvement cross-functionally -- you live by Lean and DMAIC principles
- Strong attention to detail and inherently curious; you continuously find yourself asking "Why?" 5 times over
- Ability to teach and train others; you are able to sell tough concepts and apply methodology to real problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication to all levels of an organization
- Able to manage upwards, downwards, and vertically while maintaining integrity and empathy
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, or Supply-Chain related field
