The Role
Paro is hiring an individual to define, develop and own the model by which we will establish and foster increasingly productive client and freelancer relationships. The ideal candidate is an expert in activating B2B audiences. They will come with rich experiences defining and executing on a customer lifecycle strategy, leveraging behavioral, transactional, demographic, and firmographic data to deliver relevant marketing programs across communication channels to the right audiences at the right time. They start as both the strategic leader and the hands-on builder behind this effort.
They will focus first on the business client experience, partnering closely with both our Client Success and Sales teams to ensure alignment and coordinated efforts throughout the client lifecycle. While measured by retention, loyalty and lifetime value, this role will be critical in helping clients regard Paro as a business partner and the ongoing provider of value-add business solutions.

Responsibilities include
- Refine our client lifecycle segmentation, standardize audiences and streamline personalization
- Define and iterate on the communication strategy and messaging deployed throughout the client lifecycle
- Build foundational assets for the lifecycle / CRM model, and work closely with marketing ops to operationalize the strategy
- Execute programs that promote loyalty and relationship growth
- Consistently test, learn and optimize for client’s lifetime value
- Own reporting on performance, and leverage data to help define the ongoing evolution of the model and campaigns
Requirements
- 5+ years in lifecycle and email marketing execution and strategy
- Ability to articulate audience definition and data requirements, with a very nice to have of proficiency in SQL or other data languages
- Strong analytical skills paired with creativity, project management and planning skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey intricate ideas in a simple, clear, and concise way for purposes of client messaging
- Comfort with CRM and marketing automation tools, ideally including Hubspot and/or Salesforce
- Passionate about reporting and data-based decisions for sake of refinement and optimization of the model
- Bachelor's degree or comparable hands on experience
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Functional knowledge of the finance and accounting
