As an Aptitive Custom Application Developer, you’ll work closely with our clients, technology partners, and team to develop tech-forward solutions for our client’s unique business challenges. Typical projects focus on areas such as:

• Learn and work with cutting-edge technologies

• Lead teams to help design and architect robust data and analytical solutions for our clients 
• Work directly with clients to understand and document their business needs and technology requirements
• Design, code and test data centric solutions
• Be involved from the beginning to the end of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Requirements 

• Experience as a team lead or senior developer
• Experience working with clients or customers
• Experience in one or more of the following technologies:
  • Application development languages and frameworks
    • Javascript frameworks such as Vue, Angular, React
    • Front-end development: HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS
    • Development languages such as ASP.NET, C#, Java, Python
    • Frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, .NET Entity Framework
  • Change management and deployment
    • Experience with web and application servers such as Apache, JBoss, WebSphere, Tomcat
    • Setting up and use of change management tools such as TFS, GIT, SVN, CVS, Azure DevOps
    • Experience with build tools such as TFS or Bamboo
  • Experience implementing authentication solutions (Auth0, Ping Identity, etc.)
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with the following database management systems
    • Oracle
    • Snowflake
    • SQL Server
• Strong ability to identify the root cause of application bugs and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Experience developing and consuming REST services
• Experience with all phases of the SDLC
• Polished communication skills
• Ability to share knowledge and expertise with other Aptitive software innovators and architects
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or comparable major
