Benchprep is looking for a Data Analyst to be the owner of its data-related needs. You will work closely with the Customer Success, Product and Marketing teams to create dashboards, pull data, and extract insight for the business. The ideal candidate a organized and independent individual who is able to prioritize different requests, maintain their own backlog, meet deadlines, and become the ‘knowledge center’ for all Benchprep data.
Job Responsibilities
Creates and maintains external dashboards and reports for Benchprep clients, working with the Customer Success team to understand requirements and produce work product in a timely manner.
Maintains reporting compliance with industry best practices in order to ensure optimal efficiency.
Conducts ad-hoc analyses for product, engineering, customer success, and marketing teams in order to extract data and identify meaningful insight.
Serves as the knowledge center for all data-related questions for the business units.
Requirements:
VERY Strong SQL and Excel skills required. VBA and Scripting languages (Python, Javascript) are a plus!
A Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent education, training or experience is required.
1-2 years related experience.
Knowledge and previous work with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Amplitude, Chartio.
Knowledge and previous work with Google analytics.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to independently take on and develop assignments with little supervision.
Ability to work independently to resolve problems with minimal supervisory oversight.
Ability to work with multiple levels of internal employees and external client requests.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), to help work through requirements and come up with solutions to data and reporting problems.
High level of analytical and computer skills to aid in the design and resolution of problems.
Able to find more efficient and better ways to support the departmental requests, increasing productivity.
Bonus: Familiarity with ETL Processes.
