G2 Crowd is a B2B technology reviews platform where software buyers can evaluate potential solutions by evaluating previous users’ experience. The data analyst will assist the data science and analytics team in building reporting and tools which help drive meaningful content for buyers, vendors, and G2 Crowd teammates.
Responsibilities
- Use analytic tools to produce data sets for analysis
- Use BI tools to visualize data as directed
- Assist external and internal customers with data queries and reporting needs.
- Monitor KPIs and business drivers- highlighting trends
- Provide analysis to inform key decision-making processes and to evaluate performance
- Communicate work to technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements
- 1-3 years experience in roles data analysis - especially survey data or at internet companies
- Strong general business acumen
- Strong communication skills particularly in using data to illustrate and support conclusions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with Postgres and SQL databases
- Fast learner and ready to take on data challenges
- Highly-organized individual with great attention to detail
- Excellent verbal & written communication
- Preferred degree in data driven field
