  • Evaluate business requirements and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that data and information solutions meet business requirements.
  • Respond to requests for new data requirements of varying scope and complexity.
  • Ensure the integrity and best practices for the logical and physical semantic layer data models.
  • Make modifications to tabular models to accommodate new calculations, measures, facts, or dimensions, and enhance the tabular model with appropriate measures and calculations.
  • Develop and presents prototypes and visualizations using business intelligence tools to represent specific business solution that provide value to the business.
  • Identify areas of improvement in the current systems, identify opportunities for new data sources and identify valuable integrations from different platforms.
  • Partner with other ICT teams and incorporate changes to the current systems (for e.g. legal and cybersecurity reviews, user experience updates, API Integrations etc.)
  • Partner and collaborate with other ICT analysts on best practices and industry trends.
  • Participate and provide status updates during team meetings, work closely with other team members.
  • Monitor deliverables and follows up to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Coordinate the deployment of solutions to end users.
  • Author and update team level and external documentation.
  • Eager to learn new technologies and stay current on process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Maintain awareness of new and changing functionality and quickly adapt to the technology changes to enable effective use of service delivery to clients and improve personal productivity.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • BA in information systems, computer science, engineering, or data science or other professional equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to meet West Monroe Partners’ Key Performance Expectations in:

    • Practice Development: Drive organizational effectiveness, capacity and efficiency
    • Leadership: Create competitive advantage through innovation, stewardship and reputation
  • Experience working with multiple data sources
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling with emphasis in dimensional data modeling
  • 3+ year experience working on cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure/Azure Data Factoring preferred)
  • 3+ year hands-on experience in data engineering and building ETL pipelines (experience with Databricks workspace, managing Databricks notebooks preferred)
  • Experience in data cataloguing (Alation preferred)
  • Knowledge of business intelligence/data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau etc. is a plus!
  • Proficiency with at least one agile lifecycle management tool (Jira preferred), experience working with Agile lifecycle development
  • Understanding of application programming interfaces (APIs) and how they are used
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively among stakeholders including external vendors
  • Ability to work with highly matrixed organizational structure
