Job Description

The NielsenIQ Connect Partner Network (CPN) is a curated marketplace of partners within an open ecosystem who provide mutual clients complementary data sets and services. The network removes the burdensome barriers of sharing data so clients can shift from managing data to doing things with it. With their data connected, clients are able to measure, analyze and decide faster - and smarter - than ever before.

The Data Enablement Specialist will be accountable for managing data delivery for new and existing Connected Partners.

Job Responsibilities and Scope

  • Understand and facilitate the execution of the end-to-end partner data enablement and delivery process. This includes:

    • Partner Set Up, Delivery, and Maintenance (including identifying appropriate solutions to meet partner needs and gathering requirements)

    • Data Order Execution (including Extract Order Form, API set up, Order Management, etc.)

    • Track and Report Key Metrics (quality escapes, cycle time, etc.)

    • Issue Management (Data Inquiries, API Issues, Extract Issues)

    • Meet with potential and existing partners to explain Nielsen data assets

    • Understand and use the CPN CRM

    • Other Administrative and Project Tasks as assigned

  • Demonstrated proficiency in root cause analysis, understanding KPIs, and all RMS Operations processes.

  • Proficiency with Connect, AOD, CIP/SFF extracts, and other Nielsen internal tools in order to pull data and answer partner questions

  • Act as liaison in conjunction with external partners and internal departments

  • Build collaborative working relationships with external partners and internal departments

  • Proactively identify and troubleshoot any issues with data creation, delivery, or partner access and work to resolve in a timely manner

  • Serve as part of the core CPN team defining processes for the US and other markets

  • Identify and drive opportunities for improvement across the team and processes

Role Requirements

  • Strong oral and written communication skills- able to communicate information with clarity and precision across all levels of the organization

  • Ability to drive cross functional alignment among Partner’s relationship manager, operations, technology, deployment, and client service as needed to provide a positive, streamlined experience for partners

  • Ability to represent Nielsen well to partners and develop good working relationships

  • Ability to negotiate priorities with Operations delivery teams

  • Proficiency with Connect, AOD, and CIP/SFF extracts in order to pull data and answer partner questions

  • Demonstrated proficiency in root cause analysis, understanding KPIs, and all RMS Operations processes

  • Pride in and ability to deliver against commitments

  • Ability to manage priorities and deliver against established timelines

  • Logical thinking and problem solving

  • Detail oriented

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment 

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple relationships in parallel

Background and Technical Skills

  • 3+ years experience working in Nielsen Operations

  • Knowledge of RMS and CPS data assets

  • Excellent organizational, presentation, written and communication skills

  • Flexibility with changing needs, comfortable working with unknowns and limited direction

  • Team Player and strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and influence multiple departments

  • Proficient in Google Sheets/Docs/Slides, Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint/Word
