Department OverviewThe North America Systems Integration (SI) Operations team partners with Motorola Solutions’ field organizations to drive best practices in project management and project accounting. This team strives to optimize portfolio performance by providing key metrics and analysis to the regional leaders and project managers they support. Administration and implementation of business processes and tools to maximize business effectiveness is our core responsibility.

This role is the Data Master for the North America Systems Integration business. You are a good fit if you can make sense of the data you assemble and communicate it to others. If you can quickly learn the intricacies of complex business systems and recognize opportunities within the current framework. If you cannot help but express your opinions and ideas about how it should be done and you have the social skills to get others to help you make it happen.
Responsibilities:
Defines data structures, dataflows and integrations to streamline data analysis and develop real-time business intelligence.
Finds technical solutions to simplify business processes, accelerate delivery and increase efficiency.
Compiles and analyzes technical business system requirements for new system projects or modifications to existing business systems.
Performs feasibility and needs analysis, via best-in-class benchmarking, as well as alternative solutions.
Serves as subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures.
Develops high level implementation plans.
Performs minor integration modifications and new integrations with support of IT partners.
Develop data science best practices for the organization.
Performs data analysis in support of business needs.
Manages tool/system lifecycle to ensure business integrity and optimal performance.
Additional Skills:
Proficient in data analysis techniques and statistical methods.
Proficient in one or more programming language, database platform and common API.
Strong experience with databases, ETL and enterprise application integration
Planview, MuleSoft, Salesforce, Oracle, Tableau, Excel experience a plus.
Must be a self motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives.
Must have excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Experience with IT and business process development is a plus.
May live anywhere in the US with access to a major airport
Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years of data science or integration experience OR 7+ years of data science or engineering experience
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
