Job Description

We are looking for a data scientist that will help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, and help us make smarter decisions to deliver even better tools suite. The ideal candidate is adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for tools suite and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action. They must have strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations. They must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams.
 Required Skills

• 1+ years of professional experience
• Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms
• Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modeling skills
• Experience using scripting computer languages (R, Python, Javascript) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Couch DB, Redis, Cassandra
• Experience with a variety of NLP methods for information extraction, topic modeling, parsing, and relationship extraction

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
• Self-driven and works well in an interdisciplinary team with minimal direction

Basic Requirements

• Bachelors degree + 2 years OR Masters Degree
