We are looking for a full stack Data Scientist to join our Software & Services team to help develop incredible gaming software products & services. As the foundational member of the team you will build out our core data science function within our Software & Services team, provide cross-functional mentorship around Data Science, and set the direction for our teams. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders to explore our data and unlock insights to power metrics and drive decision making.

What You'll be Doing

• Lay the foundation for the data architecture and technologies to be used for aggregating the data and drawing insight from it.
• Explore our data and help guide Product and Engineering on best practices for data collection and analysis.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and stakeholders to explore our data, power metrics, and define KPIs.
• Help define and build our new Data Science team as the first hire.

What You Should Have

• BS/MS/PHD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Math or some other quantitative field
• 5+ years of work experience in an applied research or data science role
• Proven track record of technical leadership and team mentorship
• Fluency in SQL and a language such as Python, Java, R, or Scala etc. to work efficiently with large data sets in a production environment
• Deep technical expertise in statistical modeling, modern machine learning techniques, and experiment design
• A vision for what Data Science can and should be, as well as the ability to work with internal stakeholders to execute on that vision
• Demonstrated experience and desire to get your hands dirty: this is a ground floor opportunity that will require a Data Science background (what do we want to do?) coupled with computer science/engineering/technology experience (how do we aggregate the data and draw insights?).
