Data Scientist
Position Summary
Consensus Networks LLC is seeking an experienced Data Scientist who will be responsible for data management, data cleaning, and machine learning model implementation for our HealthNet Platform. This role is a key hire who will ensure that HealthNet provides cutting edge analytics and valuable insights to end users as we launch the platform later this year. This role will be directly responsible for all data management and machine learning technologies used throughout the HealthNet application, and work closely with the rest of the Consensus Networks team to cultivate long-term data and analytics strategies.
Core Responsibilities
Apply, analyze, and interpret statistical analysis and applied population health data modeling
Oversee the building, implementation, and maintenance of all machine learning and data science tooling for Consensus Networks’ HealthNet platform.
Design, develop, and implements data management systems and analytic frameworks for the business’s data.
Design, develop, and implement robust data cleaning tools for the business data.
Assist in the building, implementation, and maintenance of data pipelines used to Extract, Translate, & Load (ETL) data into the HealthNet Environment
Ensure that Consensus Networks is using appropriate analytical and machine learning models throughout HealthNet
Lead the development and implementation of full-stack data science and machine learning solutions throughout HealthNet
Regularly asses cross-validate models to ensure that they are working as intended and with the efficacy needed to produce valuable insights for our customers
Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field; Masters/Ph.D. in any of these fields a plus
2+ years’ experience building and deploying machine learning models for a SaaS company on production systems; experience at a Health-IT firm a plus
2+ years’ experience building Machine Learning models for production systems
2+ years’ experience working with machine learning libraries such as xgboost, OpenCV, sklearn, etc.
2+ years’ experience working with data mining tools like SAS, SPSS, Python, or R.
2+ years’ experience with SQL
Strong familiarity working with large datasets and unstructured data; experience working with population health or medical data a plus
Prior experience with AWS SageMaker a plus
Self-starter who takes ownership of projects and thrives with little direct oversight
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with technical and non-technical teammates
