Data Scientist

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Data Scientist eager to contribute to and grow in our Data Science team. You are someone that is hungry to learn and loves working on open source projects and technology. We need someone that can assist in data engineering, task automation, building data pipelines among other things.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Product, DevOps, and other teams to create and maintain production of Data Science features.
• Create robust simulations for testing.

Must Haves:

• Python development experience (or other comparable languages)
• Examples of work on an open source site like GitHub, StackOverflow, etc.
• Relational DB experience (e.g. Postgres, RDS)
• Familiarity with parallel and distributed computing (e.g. threads and map-reduce)
• Kubernetes & Docker (nice to haves)
