The Role:

higi is seeking a Data Visualization Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining our Data Products via Looker Dashboards. This member of the team will help drive the Product team and the company forward through effective data visualization and analysis. The Data Visualization Engineer will work with multiple stakeholders inside and outside of the company to brainstorm, design, and build dashboard products.

Responsibilities:

As a member of the Product and Data teams, you will report to the Data team lead at higi. This position is responsible for overseeing a broad range of duties including:

• Work with Product Managers to plan and deliver new dashboards to internal/external stakeholders
• Work with Design team to design/format customer-grade data products
• Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists on a diverse set of data projects

 Qualifications:

• Experience working with Looker
• Experience designing/formatting dashboards and reports
• Previous experience working with large datasets (SQL skills preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (much of this position will be working directly with others)

Preferred

• Expertise and experience in Information Design
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a quantitative discipline
