- Maintain operations of databases and DBMSs
- Code deployments that follow change management processes
- Review and execute policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management including error log review and database backups
- Assist in general system administrator of legacy and cloud resources which interact with database systems
- Apply knowledge of database management systems and coordinate changes to databases
- Implement and maintain database security
- Manage and document production and non-production databases to policies and standards
- Strengthen data management organization
- Follow and develop data repository requirements, data dictionaries, and warehousing systems
- Optimize database access and allocate resources to align configuration, performance, and cost
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience in conducting database administration, implementing, and maintaining database security, production, and non-production databases, optimizing database accessIntellectual curiosity and integrity

- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure, SQL Server, Databricks and DevOps processes and tools
- Deep understanding of data pipelines and structured and unstructured datasets
- Deep knowledge of backup and disaster recovery
- Detailed knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS), object-oriented database management systems (OODBMS), and XML database management systems
- Demonstrated experience in performance optimization
