This Role:

Our technology team in Chicago is looking for a DBA to help support and extend our platform for our rapidly growing lending businesses (Balance Credit and Chorus Credit). We are seeking very strong hands-on candidates who want to be part of an exciting and challenging technology team in a startup atmosphere. Our Ideal candidate is a Postgress Guru equally familiar with RDS on AWS and stand-alone Postgres. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform database administration using SQL Server and MongoDB
• Perform migration of database, monitor/optimize performance, set up RDS, failover feature/clustering
• Coordinate backup, recovery, upgrading of PostgreSQL databases
• Generate SSRS reports
• Test, troubleshoot, maintain existing database features

Requirements:

• Masters degree required
• 1 year experience in the job duties
