As a Decision Scientist supporting our Consumer Servicing team you will be partnered with our product owners, helping to drive our strategy and efficiency by leveraging your understanding of our business, products and their underlying data.

In the first few months you will have...

• Developed research questions and performed exploratory analysis to proactively identify product opportunities and drive changes to our product roadmaps
• Created real time feedback mechanism that enables efficient response to outcomes of current product initiatives 
• Designed an experiment including thoughtful hypotheses and the analysis plan to prove/disprove them. Translated insights from the experiment into actions and recommendations.
• Worked closely with product managers to turn company priorities into measurable goals
• Worked alongside Analytics Engineers to build lasting data models to support product insight at Clearcover
• Developed working knowledge of Clearcover products, features, and related data sources

What do you need? 

• Advanced SQL ability necessary for discovering, manipulating and exporting data to support external data requests.
• Experience using R and/or the usual Python data science stack -- Pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, XGBoost, notebook environments, etc 
• A strong statistical understanding of product experimentation and metric assessment
• Significant experience working with complex data

What’s nice to have? 

• Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool)
• Experience with version control tools (Github, Bitbucket)
