You will be a key part of the new Commercial Growth function within West Monroe’s Strategic Growth group by supporting the creation, optimization and continuous improvement of delivery frameworks, influencing the way we deliver consulting services to our clients. The Commercial Growth function is designed to fuel West Monroe’s organic growth by productizing our repeatable offerings and driving the creation of best-in class delivery frameworks. We bring together traditional consulting, product mindset, and proprietary software assets to help our clients become digital and realize financial returns.
In this role, you will be responsible for working with the Delivery Frameworks Lead and cross-functional line teams to design, roll out and optimize our firm’s delivery frameworks. We are focused on bringing differentiated and repeatable ways of working to life for both our line partners and our clients. These delivery frameworks will be core to West Monroe’s ability to drive organic growth and more consistent and predictable revenue.
The Commercial Growth function was established at the end of 2021 continuing into 2022, thus the ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit and high level of comfort with ambiguity. This person is passionate about technology, innovation, data analysis, and collaborating with diverse teams to drive initiatives forward. This person thrives in environments where a test-and-learn approach is needed and can derive insights from data to drive decision making. Having strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease is important.
Key Responsibilities Strategy, inputs, project managing, framework creation, improving them, then reporting
Delivery Framework Creation:
- Assist the Delivery Framework Lead in building new delivery frameworks and project managing the workplans needed to execute
- Own and run agile project management processes; develop sprint cadences, set up collaborative workspaces, facilitate meetings, and resolve blockers
- Create needed internal and client facing delivery materials to support our line partners
- Assist in designing and preparing workshops to accelerate testing delivery methods and sales materials in market
Continuous Improvement:
- Support the development of new processes to programmatically evaluate our delivery frameworks
- Partner with teams to build and execute delivery framework enhancement workplans, including driving collaboration with other internal teams
- Create and improve delivery framework deliverables and materials to support the firm’s line consultants
- Monitor and report on key metrics and KPIs to identify trends and inform backlog prioritization
Leadership:
- Prepare presentation materials for regular (quarterly) reviews with senior leadership as well as presentations to communicate updates and status on initiatives
- Collaborate and manage relationships across multiple internal teams as well as all consulting practices
- Execute against change management plans to drive adoption and monitor satisfaction
- Support firmwide education efforts around delivery frameworks through training materials, communications and presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (e.g., Finance/Accounting, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Management/Business, Information Technology, MIS, etc.)
- Prior consulting experience required
- Agile Project Management experience strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications and customer relations skills
- Experience interfacing effectively with all levels of management in a dynamic and rapidly evolving work environment
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Desired knowledge of Salesforce CRM, and PowerBI
- Ability to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship
