The Mx Group is seeking an experienced, results-oriented Digital Marketing Solutions Architect. This role would perform as both an internal and client-facing Solutions Architect / Business Analyst working with our business development, client services and implementation teams to architect marketing technology solutions based on clients’ business or specific project requirements. While this isn’t a development position, you will need to understand much of the technical framework that drives the systems with which you’ll be working. We are looking for a dedicated, focused, team player capable of bringing immediate value and an entrepreneurial mindset to a new department within a growing company.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the discovery of complex business, data and process requirements from clients or internal teams
  • Work with technical architects, developers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to map your domain model concepts to the technical object model and identify how data flows between distributed technologies (such as Salesforce.com, Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
  • Ensure technical requirements are appropriately documented and author solution design documents / assets
  • Generate user stories and acceptance criteria for a team of developers who will implement your vision
  • Maintain a wide-angle view on the entire marketing technology ecosystem: CRM, account-based marketing (ABM), analytics, digital media/advertising, data integrity and security
  • Analyze competitor offerings and strategies, identify opportunities for innovation and market disruption
  • Help business leadership identify opportunities for marketing technology innovation
  • Support department lead, account directors and business development team in preparing RFP responses, estimates and conducting demos

Ideal Fit:

  • 3+ years demonstrating a high degree of proficiency in designing and integrating complex marketing technology solutions (ex. CRM tools, marketing automation, analytics, digital media/advertising)
  • Experience with process mapping business tools such as Lucid Chart or Visio
  • Strong communication skills with various audience types required
  • Natural curiosity for design and production of operational services and products
  • Ability to translate between business and technical design audiences in the organization
  • Proven experience estimating, planning, designing, and integrating software solutions
  • Desire and ability to learn quickly, take professional risks, and operate in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Professional experience at a consulting firm, an enterprise or custom software firm, or a large agency is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Agile development practices (ex. SCRUM, Kanban) is a plus
