Director, Data Quality and Data Governance
McDonald's is looking for a Director of Enterprise Data Governance and Data Quality to join our Chicago office. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and implementing enterprise data management and governance strategies and improving data processes and quality by working with business stakeholders to ensure alignment across the organization. You’ll also be responsible for setting vision and direction and for ensuring alignment between data architecture, business strategy, and data governance. Overall you will serve as an evangelist for the value of well-governed and well-architected data across the enterprise and how this discipline delivers tangible business value. Required skills:
- You have your BS or MS in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
- You have 6+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance and Data Quality positions
Desired skills:
- MBA or other related graduate level degree desirable
- Proven success in leadership role and vision
- You are adaptable and have excellent interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills
- You are experienced in all facets and tools of data management including data architecture and modeling, data quality, data warehousing, business intelligence, and metadata management
- You love leading Data Governance programs: heavy emphasis on developing and implementing data standards, policies, practices, and procedures that lead to substantive improvements in data integrity
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify quantify and effectively raise business risks associated with data quality
