West Monroe is looking for an Internal Collaboration and Technology (ICT) Director focused on analytics to help grow our internal IT capabilities.
The Director will be responsible for delivering outstanding analytics services across West Monroe and ensuring the team is following and executing the agile scrum practices within the team and with internal CxO stakeholders.
• Build on the future state ‘next generation’ analytics platform vision
• Work with our C-suite (CFO, CMO, CEO, COO, CAO, etc.) to roll out new analytics capabilities and enhancements
• Collaborate with the Product/ Portfolio Owner (or Group) to define and maintain a portfolio roadmap to deliver on the vision – an investment plan to continuously improve analytics that support business operations and decisions
• Partner with the Product/ Portfolio Owner (or Group) to help the team deliver on the sprint goals by removing impediments and escalating issues to management as necessary
• Help create a high performing team by coaching and facilitating using agile principles
• Be responsible for motivating the team, championing change within the organization, and facilitating the team ceremonies, including retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement from sprint to sprint
Responsibilities:
Team Leader
• Strong independent leadership skills with the ability to lead a team, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Define clear responsibilities and accountabilities for all project roles
• Define and track key milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
• Manage scope to ensure value is delivered and commitments are achieved within time, cost, and quality parameters
• Communicate risks and rewards associated with decisions stakeholders in business (non-technical) terms and ensure risk mitigations are sustained
• Validate financial forecasts and provide on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures
• Provide clear, concise direction to the team (including ICT, function and 3rd party staff) and deliver comprehensive progress reports to management
• Strong project-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple, high-priority projects in a highly demanding environment.
• Collaborate with the Product/ Portfolio Owner (or Group) to build ‘minimal viable products’ (MVPs), improve on them through agile sprints while incorporating best practice user experience techniques.
Scrum Master
• Coach and mentor all roles in a scrum team
• Facilitate backlog grooming and prioritization
• Perform metrics-driven analysis to help team identify and implement improvements
Qualifications:
• BA in computer science, business, engineering, or related disciplines
• Proven ability to meet West Monroe Partners’ Key Performance Expectations in:

o Practice Development: Drive organizational effectiveness, capacity and efficiency
o Leadership: Create competitive advantage through innovation, stewardship and reputation
• Experience designing and improving an analytics (business Iintelligence ) function using tools such as Databricks, Alation, PowerBI, and Tableau, etc.
• Experience working with multiple operational source systems (finance, human resources, sales, etc.)
• Experience working with SaaS products and services
• Proficiency with at least one agile lifecycle management tool (Jira preferred)
• Technology implementation project management experience
• Overall knowledge of the latest trends in the information technology domain and ability to plan ahead of the technology curve
• Overall knowledge of the latest trends and tools in the analytics (or business intelligence) domain (Microsoft tools experience preferred)
• Excellent verbal and communications skills
• MBA or other relevant professional experience
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
• 5+ years of ‘hands on’ Scrum Master implementation and/or change management experience
• Strongly prefer experience in consulting/ professional services industry
